The Antwerp draughtsman Jan Peeters was known for his ship drawings.
This etching appeared in the volume: "Thooneel der Steden ende Sterckten van t'Vereenight Nederlandt met d'aengrensende Plaetsen soo in Brabandt Vlaenderen als enen Rhijn en elders verovert door de Waepenen der Groot-moghende Heeren Staeten onder het gheley vanande seer Edele Hooghghebore Princen van Oranien".

The 85-year-old Mrs. Alberts, wife of fort watchman Harm Alberts, who died in 1977, will be back on "her island" for the first time on Monday, July 8, 1991. That day, Radio Noord-Holland is hosting a broadcast from the island in which she talks about the past

In 1991 and 1998, the then Queen Beatrix visited Pampus

Dutch celebrities André van Duin and Boudewijn Büch visit Pampus in May 1998

On April 18, 2019, the Delegate of the Province of North Holland and the Mayor of Gooise Meren opened "The Secret Weapon of Amsterdam" on Pampus

On May 1, 2013, an NH-90 helicopter of the Royal Navy will briefly practice obstacle landings at Pampus.

On July 6, 2016, the Catalina stopped by briefly to pick people up for a sightseeing flight.

On August 25, 2017, water walkers Tjitske Baarda and her son Dolf came to visit to see if "water walking" could also be done on Pampus.
